on Wednesday revealed a Rs 49,000 crore plan to raise
Bina
refinery capability, construct an ethylene cracker system for broadening footprint in petrochemicals and include 100 MW of renewable resource capability.
The refinery capability is to be raised from 7.8 mtpa (million tonnes per year) to 11 mtpa in addition to associated centers. The ethylene cracker project consists of downstream petrochemical systems in addition to growth of existing centers.
The business will establish 2 wind power plants in
Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra
with 50 MW capability each for captive usage at Bina and Mumbai refineries.
Bina refinery growth will meet the growing demand of petroleum items in main and northern India, likewise offering essential feedstock to the ethylene cracker complex. The petrochemical plant will deal with the growing domestic demand for petrochemical items.
